Treatment modalities

Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. RBR Valvole S.p.A. has adopted all the minimum security measures required by law, taking inspiration from the main international standards, has also adopted additional security measures to minimize the risks related to confidentiality, availability and integrity of personal data collected and processed.

Types of data processed

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment.

This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary submission of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular services on request.

Cookies

No personal data of users is acquired by the site.

Cookies are not used for the transmission of information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind used, i.e. systems for tracing users.

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the site. The so-called session cookies used in this site avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ navigation and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.

However, if the user do not wish to receive cookies of any kind on his/her computer, neither from the RBR website nor from others, he/she can increase the privacy protection level of his/her browser by using the appropriate function.

RBR recalls that, under the new EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), there is the right to request at any time those who use these solutions to delete information collected through cookies.

Optional provision of data

Apart from what specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data contained in the request forms or otherwise indicated, to request information material or other communications. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain the information requested.

Data sharing, communication and dissemination

The personal data provided by users who request information material (brochures, information material, etc.) are used for the sole purpose of carrying out the service requested and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary for this purpose (companies that provide enveloping, labelling, shipping services).

Should RBR Valvole open other offices, the data collected may be transferred or communicated to the other offices exclusively for the activities strictly connected and instrumental to the purposes for which the data was collected (such as the operation of the Internet service, the management of the computer and telematic system, or for processing carried out by the same offices for the same purposes).

Outside of these cases, the data will not be communicated or disclosed to anyone, except:

  1. there is explicit consent to share the data with third parties;
  2. there is a need to share information with third parties in order to provide the requested service;
  3.  this is necessary to comply with requests from the Judicial or Public Security Authorities.

No data resulting from the web service is disclosed.

Processing of sensitive data

In the event that a curriculum vitae containing sensitive personal data or data concerning health, political, religious or trade union opinions, (i.e. membership of movements or organizations of this nature), judicial data and data concerning racial or ethnic origin is sent and not containing explicit written consent to the processing of such data, such consent will be requested explicitly and in writing. In the absence of a response within 14 days, the data will be permanently deleted.

Rights of interested parties

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data and to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction as provided by the current EU Regulation 2016/679, according to which you have the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, their treatment.

Changes to this privacy policy

RBR periodically checks its privacy and security policies and, if necessary, revises them in relation to regulatory, organizational or technological changes. In case of policy changes, the new version will be published on this page of the site which, therefore, we invite you to visit periodically.
